You can move a Fink tree from a PowerPC to an Intel box, and executables
may run, but you'll never be able to update it any further that way,
because the architectures don't match.

You're better off capturing a list of your installed packages in a text
file, moving _that_ to your new machine, and then installing the
packages from that file as per
