/usr/lib/libSystem.dylib I'm fairly sure you don't not-have it (was
mainly concerned that you had installed some developer tool that had
altered your fundamental system, which it sounds like you have not).
Is your fink set for 64-bit or 32-bit ("x86_64" vs "i386" in the 'fink
-V' output)?
