It would still be interesting to find out why it doesn't build with 
Xcode-4.

MacOSX 10.7 will hit the shelves in a couple of weeks, and then packages 
that only build with Xcode-3 will be dead. Same thing for those that use 
crutches like MacOSX10.5.sdk (ocaml again, in 64bit, but also things 
like qt4-mac and with it all of kde4-mac).
