Unless you are using Fink to do it, not really [even then that conversation should take place in fink-devel rather than fink-users]. I'm also involved in another project that is currently having a terrible time dealing with automake/configure not able to find frameworks when they are installed... The single most popular answer i get when i ask about this is "You should be using cmake"! > Is there any small sample I can have a look at? I'm not aware of any fink packages that build a framework. There are some open source projects that distribute an XCode profile with their sources, and it should be possible to check one of those for the required arguments.
