Ah. I missed testing whether struct-1.0.9 works on octave-3.0.5. It appears that struct-1.0.9 doesn't in fact work on octave-3.0.5, in spite of what the octave-forge package page says, so I'm rolling optim-oct305 back to version 1.0.4, which doesn't require struct >= 1.0.9 > error: 'make' returned the following error: mkoctfile -s > arefields.cc error: called from `pkg:configure_make' in file > /sw/share/octave/3.0.5/m/pkg/pkg.m near line 1248, column 2 ### > execution of /sw/share/octave/3.0.5/scripts/octave-forge-compile.sh > failed, exit code 1 Removing runtime build-lock... And otherwise fink should tell you what else didn't get along with octave305-atlas, and I can fix it. :-) > Last point: would it be possible to have a "bundle" for the octave > addons?
