   Be aware that molmol has limited functionality under Lion. The new X11 in
Lion is based on the libxcb library rather than Xlib...

This causes breakage in the old X11 code used in molmol to output graphics 
files.
Under Lion, saving a tiff file from molmol will crash the program. A similar but
not identical issue is seen with molmol on x86_64 Fedora 15 which uses libxcb
where the tiff file is saved but contains corrupted data.

built
against the bleeding edge X11 which is now part of Lion.
