Hi, I don't use Mac OS X anymore, but I do remember that newer mplayer releases (1.0rc4 for example) will compile under newer versions of OSX. rc2 is very old really =) The tricky thing about the mplayer package was the huge list of dependencies. The package tries hard to build the same features regardless of what you have installed. Also for some of the deps the in-tree version must be used, I think mplayer uses internal ffmpeg symbols for example. Good luck! =) --- James ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more.
