I had a lot of trouble installing cernlib.  But eventually got it working.  The 
solution involved reinstalling Xcode and removing a Snow Leopard old link. 


Now, I have a new problem when I try to install root.

I did try

"fink reinstall passwd-messagebus" as suggested by an earlier person.  That did 
nothing.

 It looks like my C complier does not work as you see below.  In the sequence, 
I get

Package manager version: 0.31.5

Xcode: 4.2.1

Any help.  It is probably some legacy from Snow Leopard.  I do not know where 
to look for config.log.
