I am a long time fink user, using it behind a corporate http firewall which has forced me to use the CVS update method instead of rsync. My corporate firewalls permit CVS through directly. I cannot use CVS through the HTTP proxy since the HTTP proxy blocks connections that don't target port 80. My fink setup was quite old so I completely started afresh on my new Lion based system. In the latest fink release, fink apparently tries to be smart and insists that CVS use the http proxy setting I have with fink. This fails. How do I fix this? I tried temporarily disabling my fink http proxy setting but as soon as the CVS update finishes, it immediately times out & fails when it it tries to fetch something over the web.
Thanks in advance. ~ David -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/cvs-and-a-proxy-tp32924618p32924618.html Sent from the fink-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cloud Services Checklist: Pricing and Packaging Optimization This white paper is intended to serve as a reference, checklist and point of discussion for anyone considering optimizing the pricing and packaging model of a cloud services business.
