Fink doesn't normally use "gcc" (llvm-gcc) on 10.7, however. It normally uses clang. Since I don't reproduce your error (albeit with Xcode 4.2), let's look at /sw/src/fink.build/ghc-7.2.2-1/ghc-7.2.2/config.log . I get: configure:2484: checking for gcc configure:2502: found /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-clang/gcc configure:2514: result: /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-clang/gcc configure:2588: checking for gcc configure:2615: result: /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-clang/gcc configure:2853: checking for C compiler version configure:2860: /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-clang/gcc --version >&5 Apple clang version 3.0 (tags/Apple/clang-211.12) (based on LLVM 3.0svn) Target: x86_64-apple-darwin11.2.0 Thread model: posix - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk7mroEACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ9V2gCeKL8kk/rD60pYol1Y3LrCVH/x ErIAni2H2yaoksZPVJ1CZBDcHjMOoUOI =3rhU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Systems Optimization Self Assessment Improve efficiency and utilization of IT resources.
