hope I may contact you again. Now, I also need hdf5 for gfortran, so I
installed
hdf5.7-gfortran.
Using both hdf5 and netcdf in one program I compile it with
gfortran -o simple simple.f90 -lnetcdf -lnetcdff -I/sw/opt/netcdf7/include
-L/sw/opt/netcdf7/lib -lhdf5 -lhdf5_fortran -I/sw/include -L/sw/lib
..this works. However, if I try to run the program I get
HDF5-DIAG: Error detected in HDF5 (1.8.8) thread 0:
#000: H5T.c line 1676 in H5Tcopy(): not a datatype or dataset
major: Invalid arguments to routine
minor: Inappropriate type
I would be very happy about some help. (Its the last package I need to install.
Promised!)
