Please try the following and then please report back if it works so that bioperl can be added to the official 10.7 distribution: Download the following 2 files and save them to /sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo <http://fink.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fink/dists/10.4/stable/main/finkinfo/libs/perlmods/bioperl-pm.info> <http://fink.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fink/dists/10.4/stable/main/finkinfo/libs/perlmods/bioperl-pm.patch> Edit bioperl-pm.info that you just downloaded so that line 44 only lists "5.12.3" (no quotes) inside the parentheses. Then try 'fink install bioperl-pm5123' in Terminal.app. It will have to install a lot of other perl modules, but the build should finish successfully. Please test that bioperl works as expected and let us know.
