galeon ran fine her w/out the need to set any env variable.  Does

MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/sw/lib/seamonkey galeon

not work?  (make sure /sw is replaced by whatever your Fink prefix is if 
you are not using the default setting).

And post the output of 'fink list seamonkey'
