I'm using the same file for all of the combinations of octave[-atlas][-x11]. However, the user-visible description text (cf. "fink info packagename"), which is what the website puts up, doesn't provide me a way to use different text for the different package variants other than the package name itself. I could mention _all_ of the variants, though. That wouldn't be a bad idea.
The difference between octave-x11 and plain octave is that the former's built-in fltk graphics windows will use X11 to display, whereas in the latter case they display in the "normal" Aqua window manager. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF email is sponsosred by: Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] List archive: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.macosx.fink.user Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
