We don't support upgrading Fink in place on an OS 10.6 to 10.7 update for 
various reasons.  In your case, the most applicable reason is that Fink is only 
64-bit on Lion.  Try capturing a list of your packages via the commands listed 
on

http://www.finkproject.org/download/10.7-upgrade.php?phpLang=en

then install a new Fink.

You do have the option to install your new Fink in a different path, and 
continue to use your old Fink tree.  Many packages from your old Fink will 
still work on Lion, and there may be packages that you need which haven't been 
migrated yet.  Just


Assuming you have Xcode 4.3.x, you'll need to download the command line tools 
(including cc, rsync, make, ...) manually, as described in the "2012-03-27: 
fink-0.32.4.1 released" news item on http://www.finkproject.org.
