Xcode 4.2 does not seem to be available for Snow Leopard, but since I have
Xcode 3.2.6 installed to be able to build software that runs on all hardware
supported by Leopard or Tiger, I just renamed /usr/bin/ld and created a
hard-link of the older ld. This worked!
