No, it failed somewhere else and you're quoting the stuff that comes out from *literally every possible mode of failure* in the compile phase. There is no useful information for debugging purposes here, other than the fact that you do indeed have the fixed package description, as indicated by the -2. > *...* > */sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-pixman-0.26.2-2* > *(Reading database ... 17176 files and directories currently installed.)* > *Removing fink-buildlock-pixman-0.26.2-2 ...* <snip> > *Failed: phase compiling: pixman-0.26.2-2 failed* > * > * > This is some of my info: > Package manager version: 0.34.4 > Distribution version: selfupdate-cvs Tue Oct 9 20:58:56 2012, 10.5, i386 > Trees: local/main stable/main stable/crypto > Xcode.app: 3.1.4 > Xcode command-line tools: 3.1.4 > Max. I don't show a /usr/bin/llvm-gcc from Xcode 3.1.4 on my own 10.5 setup. In any case, the package is set *not* to use llvm-gcc on 10.5, but instead to use gcc-4.2 if present. This should be available on your system because you have Xcode 3.1.4. We generally recommend that people look for the _beginning_ of where errors start to occur, and then to post starting at the line of output before that, and then continuing for a few lines into the error messages. -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison My package updates: http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Don't let slow site performance ruin your business.
