Hello All, it seems 'db185.c' is containing a bug and does not compile. So far as I figured out it belongs to Berkeley DB and is needed by many packages such as gimp or gnuplot that I tried to install. I tried all versions of Berkeley DB available over Fink Commander.
How can this be solved out? Has anybody a good advise? Thanks Joachim ./libtool --mode=compile gcc -c -I. -I../src -Os ../lang/db185/db185.c libtool: compile: gcc -c -I. -I../src -Os ../lang/db185/db185.c -fno-common -DPIC -o .libs/db185.o In file included from ../lang/db185/db185.c:11: In file included from ./db_int.h:999: In file included from ../src/dbinc/mutex.h:15: In file included from ../src/dbinc/mutex_int.h:12: ../src/dbinc/atomic.h:179:19: error: definition of builtin function '__atomic_compare_exchange' static inline int __atomic_compare_exchange( ^ ../lang/db185/db185.c:71:7: warning: case value not in enumerated type 'DBTYPE' [-Wswitch] case 0: /* DB_BTREE */ ^ 1 warning and 1 error generated. make: *** [db185.lo] Error 1 ### execution of /tmp/fink.ErZ3s failed, exit code 2 ### execution of /tmp/fink.ijQxB failed, exit code 2 Removing runtime build-lock... If you continue to have issues, please check to see if the FAQ on Fink's website solves the problem. If not, ask on one (not both, please) of these mailing lists: The Fink Users List <fink-users@lists.sourceforge.net> The Fink Beginners List <fink-beginn...@lists.sourceforge.net>, with a carbon copy to the maintainer: Daniel Johnson <dan...@daniel-johnson.org> Note that this is preferable to emailing just the maintainer directly, since most fink package maintainers do not have access to all possible hardware and software configurations.
