Well, I had trouble because of the DEVELOPER_DIR settings while installing fink
initially (on source release). The "xcodebuild -license" didn't work, and I had
to set it.

I ran the command "fink list -t xcode" and got in return:

$ fink list -t xcode
WARNING: Unable to parse the line "/Users/marc # Fink configuration, initially
created by bootstrap" at line 1 of "/sw/etc/fink.conf".

developer tools]
 i xcode.app 4.6.1-1 [virtual package representing Xcode]

Thanks for helping again

Marc

We had a moderator error on the follow-up message (clicked the wrong
button), so I'll paste the relevant part in:

"
Since Xcode and the command line tools seem to be correctly installed, I
thought there might be a path problem (so fink wouldn't be able to find
it). I set xcode-select to /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer,
and DEVELOPER_DIR to the same path.

I also ran "pkgutil --pkg-info com.apple.pkg.DeveloperToolsCLI" and got
in return:

package-id: com.apple.pkg.DeveloperToolsCLI
version: 4.6.0.0.1.1362189000
volume: /
location: /
install-time: 1365688273
groups: com.apple.FindSystemFiles.pkg-group
com.apple.DevToolsBoth.pkg-group
com.apple.DevToolsNonRelocatableShared.pkg-group

I really don't know where to look anymore, so any idea would be welcome : )

Thanks in advance

Setting DEVELOPER_DIR won't do anything, because fink normally tries to
_avoid_ using local environment settings. Fink is set up to use your
xcode-select settings to find xcode.app.

Your xcode-select setting looks right, too. And your original build
output showed:

Package manager version: 0.34.7
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Thu Apr 11 18:05:38 2013, 10.7,
x86_64
Trees: local/main stable/main
Xcode.app: 4.6.1
Xcode command-line tools: 4.6.0.0.1.1362189000
Max. Fink build jobs: 4

The Xcode.app and Xcode command-line tools versions above come literally
from the same piece of code that fink uses to generate the xcode.app and
xcode virtual package versions, so everything looks like it _should_ be
working.

For confirmation, what do you get from "fink list -t xcode"?
