Jack, Before entering how the different gcc are installed on my system, let me say that the following change allowed me to update gcc48
[karma] /Users/dominiq% diff /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-g++-4.0/g++~ /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-g++-4.0/g++ 5c5 < exec g++-4.0 "$@" --- > exec g++-4.2 "$@" So IMO the question is what the use of /sw/var/lib/fink/path-prefix-g++-4.0? For my setup the default gcc/g++ is gcc version 4.9.0 20130426 (experimental) [trunk revision 198347] (GCC) and /usr/bin/gcc(g++) gcc version 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5577) Thanks for the quick answer, Dominique ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite It's a free troubleshooting tool designed for production Get down to code-level detail for bottlenecks, with <2% overhead.
