It means RAM, but this should not happen, because computers use virtual memory, 
i.e., they "extend" their memory onto disk. Is your disk or the volume with the 
swap files full? (Usually the boot volume.) Is the file system still OK? If 
that's damaged, then it's possible that it reports it's full.
