When running some Fink apps that use dbus, many of them started spitting
out error messages like this:

Dynamic session lookup supported but failed: Unable to find launchd
socket when setuid
GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible
causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you
have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See
http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Failed
to get connection to session: Not enough memory)

and functionality is broken (previous settings are not loaded or saved)
or the app does't work. Near as I can tell, I haven't made any changes
to dbus (or to the apps in question). I've also tried reinstalling and
rebuilding dbus* and gconf2 as well as rebooting to clear any stale
locks, but it hasn't helped. Suggestions?

10.7 everything up to date.
