Ah, that accounts for your problem. Fink expects that the "gcc" and
"g++" from Xcode 3.2.6 are both from GCC-4.2.1. GCC-4.0.1 doesn't
support the -Wno-overlength-strings flag. I saw tests for that in my
build, but I guess they only test using gcc and not g++.
Use
ls -l `which gcc`
to see what the real executable is--what I had you look at is the
wrapper which Fink uses.
