Can you post the full build log and a list of your installed fink packages?
Also for the failed build with 'fink -k'
what do you see in
/sw64/src/fink.build/llvm-gcc42-2336.11-107/objroot/dst-x86_64-x86_64/sw64/bin?
It should show...

Previously there were some problematic calls to make in build_gcc which failed
when the fink make was
used but those are now hardcoded to /usr/bin/make. FYI, I see no problems
building from a clean bootstrap
or when I have fink's bison, coreutils, findutils, gawk, make and sed installed.

ps It would also be helpful if you could move aside your current fink and do a
clean bootstrap
followed by 'fink selfupdate'. 'fink update-all' and 'fink install llvm-gcc42'
to just verify
the fault isn't something installed outside of fink on your system.
