You don't need to preface the 'fink' command with 'sudo'  Fink is smart 
enough to know when it needs elevated rights and will ask you for your 
password directly.

If you need to capture the log, use 'fink -l <COMMAND>'.  The full log 
file is then saved to /tmp.

A fix for vim on 10.9 was just committed earlier this morning (look for 
revision -2).
