You don't need to preface the 'fink' command with 'sudo' Fink is smart enough to know when it needs elevated rights and will ask you for your password directly. If you need to capture the log, use 'fink -l <COMMAND>'. The full log file is then saved to /tmp. > I'm just trying to help with packages that don't compile with the 10.9 > compatible version of fink so please let me know if there is anything else > I should be doing. > gcc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DFEAT_GUI_GTK -I/sw/include > -I/sw/include/gtk-2.0 -I/sw/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/sw/include/atk-1.0 > -I/sw/include/cairo -I/sw/include/pango-1.0 -I/sw/include/glib-2.0 > -I/sw/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/sw/include/freetype2 -I/opt/X11/include > -I/sw/include -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -Wall -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE > -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1 -I/usr/X11/include -o objects/os_unix.o os_unix.c > gcc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DFEAT_GUI_GTK -I/sw/include > -I/sw/include/gtk-2.0 -I/sw/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/sw/include/atk-1.0 > -I/sw/include/cairo -I/sw/include/pango-1.0 -I/sw/include/glib-2.0 > -I/sw/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/sw/include/freetype2 -I/opt/X11/include > -I/sw/include -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -Wall -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE > -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1 -I/usr/X11/include -o objects/pathdef.o > auto/pathdef.c > gcc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DFEAT_GUI_GTK -I/sw/include > -I/sw/include/gtk-2.0 -I/sw/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/sw/include/atk-1.0 > -I/sw/include/cairo -I/sw/include/pango-1.0 -I/sw/include/glib-2.0 > -I/sw/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/sw/include/freetype2 -I/opt/X11/include > -I/sw/include -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -Wall -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE > -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1 -I/usr/X11/include -o objects/popupmnu.o > popupmnu.c > gcc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DFEAT_GUI_GTK -I/sw/include > -I/sw/include/gtk-2.0 -I/sw/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/sw/include/atk-1.0 > -I/sw/include/cairo -I/sw/include/pango-1.0 -I/sw/include/glib-2.0 > -I/sw/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/sw/include/freetype2 -I/opt/X11/include > -I/sw/include -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -Wall -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE > -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1 -I/usr/X11/include -o objects/quickfix.o > quickfix.c > ### execution of /tmp/fink.tjCZ1 failed, exit code 2 > ### execution of /tmp/fink.6aIPp failed, exit code 2 > Removing runtime build-lock... > Removing build-lock package... > /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-vim-7.4.50-1 A fix for vim on 10.9 was just committed earlier this morning (look for revision -2).
