You ran:

sudo apt-get install r-base=3.0.2-2

There's no official binary distribution for 10.6.  Without seeing your 
/sw/etc/apt/sources.list file there's no real way to see what's gone 
wrong.

Or you could use the "source install" option from Fink Commander.
