I'm not sure how it could be older than what you have, considering 
that's supposed to be the server from which everything is derived, but 
we'll leave that aside for now.

I'd recommend just posting the error you're getting.  The last update to 
imagemagick was two months ago, so unless you haven't updated in a while 
a selfupdate might well not change anything.
