Alexander, Thanks for the input. I moved Xcode.app out of the way and re-ran “fink install pwgen”, and the install went smoothly. For what it’s worth, I installed Xcode.app a while back in response to a software package’s requirement. Yesterday, I followed Fink’s installation instructions to install XCode command-line tools. That’s how I ended up with the crossed versions.
