Yeah, official support stopped on June 4. The last update to lyx* was to switch to newer boost libraries. The error that you're seeing suggests that maybe these weren't appropriate on 10.6. I don't recall if I did any separate testing on 10.6 or just assumed that the update would work, and if I did do any testing it was just a build test without a run-time check. If you've got an older .deb you can install that via sudo dpkg -i /path/to/lyx-x11_<version-revision>_<architecture>.deb To build from an older .info, the safest option is to put the file in /sw/fink/10.4/local/main/finkinfo, verify that local/main appears in the Trees: line of /sw/etc/fink.conf, and then use fink install lyx-x11-<version-revision> to install that version-revision of lyx-x11 -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison My package updates: http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Want excitement?
