Dear Fink Users and Maintainers, Question: what is the status of gfortran and the older HDF(v4) with v10.10 of MacOS?
I noticed fortran doesn't understand the new operating system: $ gfortran hello.f90 gfortran: warning: couldn’t understand kern.osversion ‘14.0.0 $ gfortran --version gfortran: warning: couldn’t understand kern.osversion ‘14.0.0 GNU Fortran (GCC) 4.8.2 Copyright (C) 2013 Free Software Foundation, Inc. and the same with HDF: $ fink install hdf Information about 10061 packages read in 1 seconds. Can't resolve dependency "gcc48" for package "hdf-4.2r4-1003" (no matching packages/versions found) Exiting with failure.
