Got it. I had both a 10.10 and 10.7 directory, so I did the edit on the 10.10 and left the 10.7 alone. It compiled with lots of warnings.
It ran, with these errors in the console: pidgin Couldn't create plugins dir GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Failed to get connection to session: Unable to find launchd socket when setuid) I am testing . . . If you want I'll try reverting the 10.10 and do the 10.7. But I'll play with this a bit.
