I do understand. It’s really quite tricky to try to make our builds resilient against interference from outside packages, apart from just having folks make sure to move /usr/local out of the way, make sure that Macports’s environment isn’t active during the build, etc. For sending logfiles, I’d recommend _just_ sending them to Jack and not to the mailing list if they’re very lengthy. That being said, I was able to build gcc49 on my own 10.7 system, so my guess is that moving something (to be determined) should allow you to update. I don’t have a convenient place to upload the .deb files, or I’d do that. -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list Fink-users@lists.sourceforge.net List archive: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.macosx.fink.user Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
