The problem is that you installed Yosemite (semi-seriously). All Fink foo.app/Contents/PkgInfo files suffer from the same issue on Yosemite. The current workaround is to remove the package first and then install the updated version, since under those circumstances a backup link isn’t required. Sorry about that.
