Barring a change to the package, e.g. to use Fink’s openssl100, you would need to downgrade Xcode and the command line tools or get a copy of the 10.10 SDK from an earlier Xcode—my understanding is that Xcode 7 finally forbids building against the system’s OpenSSL, which Apple apparently deprecated at 10.7. Supposedly there were compiler warnings about that:
