Any updates on this?

Same symptoms here. Using Fink's python2.7, "import zbar" gets a
Segmentation fault.

libzbar-py27               0.10-3

$ fink --version
Package manager version: 0.39.3
Distribution version: selfupdate-cvs Tue Jun  7 08:29:44 2016, 10.11, x86_64
Trees: local/main stable/main local/injected

Backtrace is here: https://www.ghz.cc/charles/tmp/zbar-0.10-3.crash.txt

I was going to try and get a core file to debug, but the OS X crash
reporter keeps popping up first.
