Hi all,

The problem I am trying to solve is 'stiff' numerically ie, the terms
are many orders of magnitude apart. In the FORTRAN implementation the
problem required adaptive time stepping, and scaling of the terms
(non-dimensionalization, normalization, etc).

In general, will FiPy work better when scaling of terms is used on stiff
problems, or is the implementation in FiPy somehow done to account for
stiff problems.

How does one apply sweeping, and / or adaptive time stepping in FiPy?

  Have a great day!
