Fair enough. I'm still not certain what the original question was
though. Were you asking whether one can model some nucleation process
or other using a CH equation in fipy? All I would say is that if you
think can write down the equation, initial conditions and boundary
conditions to whatever it is you are interested in then, yes, you can
probably get a reasonable answer using fipy in one way or another.
