The build directory may be in your fipy directory, alongside setup.py. Hmmm... probably not. I think this path reporting is just an artifact of the way the egg is built.
It may be in the setuptools egg (attached), but I'm not sure how to find it if it's in there.
You can just run unzip on an egg. The command/test.py file says what I'd expect it to. I'm at a loss for the moment, but I'll think about how to diagnose this situation.
