Hi,
as the subject suggests I have a little question about how to handle
boundary conditions at infinity.
When solving (P)DEs analytically physicists like to add the BC that the
function solving the (P)DE converges to zero when its variable goes to
infinity: $\lim_{x\to\pm\infty}f(x) = 0$.

Now I'm wondering how I would correctly regard this BC? As far as I can
tell I have two options:
a) simply ignore it.
b) apply the BC to the exterior face of the mesh.

I would appreciate any comments.

Thanks, Andi
