Obviously, Gmsh has the same issue with the examples, but

   circle (examples.diffusion)
   Doctest: examples.diffusion.circle ... ok
   circleQuad (examples.diffusion)
   Doctest: examples.diffusion.circleQuad ... ok

indicates that the circle example, which uses Gmsh, passes the tests. The
question is why are some of the Gmsh examples working and some are not.
Just to confirm, doing

   $ python examples/cahnHilliard/sphere.py

in the newly unpacked version of fipy still gives an error. Right? I
noticed that you were running a file called
"/home/miky/Scrivania/Esempi_Fipy/Esempio5.py" before.

BTW You may want to use pastebin.com for this sort of long output. It makes
the email easier to read.
