I tried to solve linear elasticity with FiPy recently without success, the most basic set of equations in 2D on a regular grid. I ended up using Sfepy for the problem. I think this is an important problem that we need to address. I think for coupled Cahn-Hilliard coupled/vector work better though. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to address this issue right now., but if I get back into FiPy development elasticity is one of the first things that I would like to fix. Your equations looked related to these. I would recommend trying Sfepy as well as FiPy. -- Daniel Wheeler _______________________________________________ fipy mailing list [email protected] http://www.ctcms.nist.gov/fipy [ NIST internal ONLY: https://email.nist.gov/mailman/listinfo/fipy ]
