When you open project builder, you will notice that in the bottom frame of
the window, tou will see messages like "SCM status..." and things like that.
This is project builder using CVS to see if there are any files that are
changed from the ones it has.  If it finds any, you will see a letter "U"
appear next to the file/folder in the left-hand pane.

The easiest way to update is to select the "Fire" item at the top of the
list, and then select update to latest revision from the "SCM" menu.
