I've noticed something in the Windows version of AIM that I thought
would be a nice addition to Fire. In that version, you have the ability
to have a temporary away message, i.e. the away message you set isn't
actually saved. Instead, it just shows up until you come back. It's a
nice little thing, since you don't have to create a new away message for
every little thing. I was wondering if anyone else thought this would be
a worthy feature request.
BTW, yet another new chat client came out today called Proteus. It's at
http://www.indigofield.com. I don't think it's at Fire's level yet, and
I don't know if it's open source, but you might want to take a look if
you're really into trying everything available. Again, at this point
Fire looks like it's better.
