Hi all,
I think I've found a rather unusual ... something - not sure if it's a bug
yet, so I'm awaiting others' thoughts before I report it to the bug page.
A week ago or so, I changed my MSN login name from DaveLovesOz to
DaveLovesAust. Since then none of my MSN buddies ever seem to come online,
despite me successfully being online myself.
Now I know they're online for two reasons:
1. I just phoned a couple of them and they told me (incidentally they can't
see me online either)
2. When I change my login back to my old screen name they appear.
Next interesting thing is that I thought perhaps the buddies were somehow
connected to my own login. I just deleted one of the buddies that I know is
online right now, and then recreated him as a new buddy. Bingo he appears
online.
For the record I changed my AIM login name at the same time, and had no
problems with that.
Anyone else got any thoughts on this?
Is this a Fire bug or MSN bug?
Cheers,
David.
