Think yourself lucky. I haven't been able to get Yahoo to work since 0.27bThat’s interesting, because Fire is still using the exact same yahoo library that it did in 0.27.b. It hasn’t changed.
My only guess is that Yahoo is not very popular with the programming types.
Another guess is that the yahoo servers have been experiencing some serious issues and major downtime this week. It’s not Fire — all clients (Mac, Win, Linux, name-branded and third-party) have been having issues. As much as we’d love to have Yahoo IM working 100% reliably, it’s not going to happen unless Yahoo! Inc. hires us to work on the server-side of things. No amount of client-side wizardry can can compensate for server problems.
