Verifying the passphrase is something that can be done fairly easily.  
This would add convenience.  I need to think some on the flow.

It think verifying in the entry dialogue box would be good.  If it 
fails, a titlebar popdown window should come out saying:

It appears you have entered an invalid pass phrase for key:
KEY INFO HERE

and two buttons: (1) "Accept anyway" bound to "Enter" and (2) "Try 
again" bound to "Escape"

A checkbox to allow seeing the passphrase promotes bad habits.  I would 
be opposed to even providing that option.
