I didn't find this bug listed in the firelist archives, and I didn't
notice bugzilla setup, so I thought I'd post it here.
OS: Mac OS X 10.1.2
HW: Powerbook G3 500 (pismo)
Fire version: v0.29.b
Under Preferences:Notifications:Buddies if "When a buddy logs off"
"Speak it to me" is checked, Fire will not reconnect to Yahoo after
sleep. This is the only IM account that I use, so I don't know if it
works with others or not. It doesn't seem to matter if I have "Speak
it to me" checked under "When a buddy logs on". I do have reconnect
to services after waking from sleep checked (in the General tab).
Fire will reconnect to Yahoo if I have "Play a sound" checked.
Sleep, in this case, is closing the cover of the Powerbook. When I
open the cover, Fire displays an Information window which says: "Are
you sure you entered the correct username and password, because Fire
cannot initialize a Yahoo!" That's the complete message. The
username and password are correct as confirmed by manual login
without changing the username or password.
Please write if more information is needed.
Thanks,
-Dave
