Joe ______ (in this case, Joe User) AFAIK is just a construct used to create
an arbitrary name for your average ______ (in this case, your average User).
Two movies have recently come out (in the US at least, I'm not familiar with
the international release dates) with titles playing off of this -- John Q
and Joe Somebody. The construct is neither epithetic nor derogatory, just
anonymous. "Joe User" just refers to your average user. I'm not implying
that Joe User is stupid for not understanding software development; I'm just
stating *that* they don't understand it. Nothing more.

I think you misunderstood the intent behind my comment. There was no
libelous intent behind it.

I only just now noticed the similarity between "Joe User" and "Juergen".
Believe me -- I wasn't twisting your name around. The coincidence is just
that -- purely coincidental.

Didn't even know you were German. Don't have a problem with Germans. My
mother's side of the family is German.
