No, I'm not Eric, but I *think* I've got everything hooked up. At least
back to the level we were at before, if not a step or two further. Let me
review Eric's warning.

I'm sure some things are still broken, but I was using MSN last evening for
several hours with no problems.

You can:
* Import buddies from the server (they'll go into the Default Group, but
once you edit them (and have local buddy defined instead of just going
off of the server), they'll keep their group)
* Add and remove buddies from the server list (changes made to the local
list are synched with the server)
* Block and unblock buddies properly (AIM should also block properly now)

Fixed.

There is no group chat yet.

These are now handled correctly.

c) Buddy list management
d) Receiving "XXX is typing" (Sending these doesn't work yet)

Your user name and ALL buddies must now have a fully qualified
email/passport address. This means you need to enter your msn account as
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]", not just "talmage" anymore. All you local buddies
will not work until you append "@hotmail.com" to their names -- change
"monson" to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". You don't have to change anything for
non-hotmail-based accounts.

Like I said, yesterday I was using this pretty heavily and I think I've got
the instabilities ironed out. I've got all the ones I could find, anyway.
I'm to the point where I need more people testing to see if they can find
unstable areas -- beach balls and unexpected crashers, as well as generally
unexpected behavior.
Again, if you *need* a stable, production-quality client, I have to
recommend that you stick with Fire 0.29.b. But if you want to help make the
next stable, production-quality client better, give the TOT a try. Fire
needs beta testers.
