That's true as of 0.29.b. TOT uses a new MSN lib, and one of the changes is
that all buddies have to be entered according to their full Passport ID. I
thought I got the help updated to reflect that -- are you using 0.29.b or
TOT?

Hopefully (fingers crossed) the new lib fixes that, so this is the part
where I hope you're using 0.29.b or an older cvs build.
